Scout52 Apps: the everyday scouting jobs, on your phone

The short answer

Scout52 Apps is a phone app for the jobs scouts do every week: checking a player’s age group, the travel time from a family’s postcode, the EPPP compensation due, sharing your contact card by QR code, sending training times, asking a family for details, and keeping your priority positions on a pitch. It costs £3.99 a month or £36 a year at apps.scout52.com.

What’s in it

Age group checker

Type a date of birth and get the UK age group for this season and next, the school year, the birth quarter and the international age group. No more counting back to 31 August.

Travel time checker

Put in the family’s postcode for the drive time to your training ground at real training times: weekday 5pm and 6pm, Saturday morning, no traffic and public transport. Useful when a player might be near the catchment limit.

EPPP compensation calculator

Pick the academy category and the age groups the player was registered at, and see the training compensation due, year by year and in total, on the 2026/27 rules. Appearance payments are shown on top.

Contact card with a QR code

Your name, role, phone and email behind one QR code. Parents scan it and your details save straight to their phone, so no more mistyped numbers.

Training times

Save your sessions once. When a family asks when you train, tick the sessions they need and send them in a message.

Ask a family for details

Tick the details the club needs, such as date of birth, current club, school and parent contact, and it writes the message for you to copy and send.

Priority positions

Keep every priority position and age group on a pitch. Filter by age group to see what you’re looking for before a game, and keep your focus on the pitch.
